Grand Cayman

With a total landmass of 78 square miles, GRAND CAYMAN is the largest, most populated and most developed of the three Cayman Islands. As such it receives the greatest number of visitors and certainly feels the most traditionally Caribbean, with a small colonial capital, a beautiful stretch of beach, and lots of typical resorts that will set your whole holiday up for you.

George Town

Downtown George Town is dense with tourists on cruise ship days (two to three times a week); otherwise it's a fairly quiet little town with business people running around in suits plying the financial trade. Still you're likely to spend a bit of time here, at least checking out the cigar and gem shops - which though duty- and tax- free, are still no bargain - or the decent museum and nearby colonial buildings.

Caribbean & BermudaCaribbean & Bermuda
Relax under the sun and on the sand in the islands. You can still find plenty of activities to fill your days and nights.

Escape to the Cayman IslandsCayman Brac is about eighty miles northeast of Grand Cayman, and accessible by a quick plane hop, lies tiny CAYMAN BRAC . With none of the fast-food outlets or tourist bustle of the larger island, the Brac (as it's colloquially known) offers the chance for an isolated Caribbean vacation, though growing numbers come here for outdoor activities such as scuba diving and hiking.

Escape to the Cayman Islands As such, relatively few resorts cater to such vacationers, although those that do generally have the best access to the few beaches on the island; most are relatively brackish, with plenty of sea grass, save for the lone public beach, which is the best stretch around these parts, located on the same south side as most hotels and just a ten-minute bicycle ride away.
